The adventure began early in the morning from Mumbai. took a local train from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST) towards Karjat and got off at Bhivpuri Road station. The train ride itself was a prelude to the beauty that awaited us, with scenic landscapes flashing past our window.
Reaching Diksal Village From Bhivpuri Road station, we hired an auto-rickshaw to Diksal village, the starting point of our trek. The village was a charming, rustic place, setting the tone for the natural beauty ahead.
The Trek Starting the Ascent , The trek from Diksal to Garbett Plateau is approximately 5-6 km and took us about 4-5 hours to complete. The trail was well-marked but varied in terrain, from gentle slopes to steep climbs. We crossed lush green fields, small streams, and dense forest patches, each turn offering a new scenic delight.
